Venice Smog Check respects your privacy. This policy explains how information may be collected and used when you visit venicesmog.com or choose to use a linked service.

Information you choose to provide

If you call, email, request directions, or complete the walk-in form, you may provide contact, vehicle, or service-request information. The walk-in form is hosted by REVV AI, a third-party service, and information submitted there is handled through that service.

Optional location and driving time

When you choose “Use my location” and allow browser location access, your coordinates are sent directly to the FOSSGIS OpenStreetMap routing service to estimate your drive. We do not save these coordinates in website storage. The routing provider may log requests under its own privacy policy. Estimates exclude live traffic. You can decline access and still use the map and directions. The embedded map is provided by Google; opening personalized directions shares your starting location with Google Maps.

Website and advertising data

The site may use cookies or similar technology for basic site operation, analytics, and advertising measurement. This can include information such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, and interactions with call, directions, booking, or form buttons.

How information is used

Information may be used to respond to requests, provide smog-check services, operate and improve the website, measure advertising performance, prevent misuse, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information for money.
